Ceremonial start to construction of $7 million Singleton Town Centre Upgrade – Stage 2.

Construction of the $7 million Singleton Town Centre – Stage 2 officially starts on Friday 31 July 2020 at 1:30pm.

John Street Singleton Stage 2.

Singleton Council has appointed Robson Civil to undertake the works, expected to take approximately 12 months.

The project will revitalise John Street from the Ryan Avenue intersection north to Campbell Street, and from Campbell Street to the New England Highway.

To mark the start of works, a media opportunity will be held at the corner of John and Elizabeth streets on Friday 31 July 2020 at 1:30pm.

Mayor of Singleton, Cr Sue Moore, General Manager Jason Linnane and representatives from Robson will be in attendance and media are invited. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the site is limited to 17 people with social distancing observed. All attendees must sign in on arrival. Hand sanitiser and face masks will be available.
