Rest in Peace

A commemorative service will be held at 11:00 am this morning (Monday 10th February 2020) at the Melbourne Shrine of Remembrance in memory of the 82 HMAS Voyager sailors lost when aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne and destroyer HMAS Voyager collided, on the evening of February 10 1964, during a Navy exercise in Jervis Bay. 

Pedro Rich, OAM, BEM, Ex. Warrant Officer Physical Trainer who received the British Empire Medal for Gallantry for his actions the night HMAS Voyager sank, will be at the service.
