Muswellbrook Shire Council engaged consultants Royal Haskoning DHV to produce the Hunter River Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan (FPRMS&P) on behalf of Council and the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH). The FPRMS&P builds on the Hunter River Flood Study (Muswellbrook and Denman) which was prepared by Worley Parsons and adopted by Council in 2014.

The draft FPRMS&P is now on exhibition until 12th December 2018 at Denman Library and Muswellbrook Library.
