$350,000 fire engine for Morpeth

Wednesday, 23 March 2010 ~ The Hon. Tony Kelly MLC and Member for Maitland Frank Terenzini MP will visit Morpeth Fire Station to hand over a new $350,000 fire engine to firefighters at Morpeth Fire Station, 169 Swan Street Morpeth.

The new truck can pump up to 3000 litres of water a minute for firefighting operations and also incorporates a foam system to fight chemical, petrol and bushfires. The vehicle will be a significant boost for fire protection for the people of Morpeth and the Hunter.
